Villiers House - Douglas, Isle of Man

At the gateway to Douglas

Tevir Group have undertaken significant investment into the site now known as Villiers Square, which consists of Villiers House, Clarendon House, Douglas 'Town Square' and a development plot.

The newly refurbished Villiers House, situated on the corner of Loch Promenade and Victoria Street in Douglas, is now the Isle of Man headquarters for Lloyds Banking Group.

Having Lloyds Banking Group, such a significant local employer as a tenant in this landmark property undoubtedly revived the building’s status as the gateway to Douglas Promenade.

The refurbishment works included a complete overhaul of the flooring, ceilings, internal cabling, lighting and air-conditioning systems, plus renewal and refit of over half of the glazing. The exterior of the building benefited from an intensive blast-cleaning process to clear away the accumulated grime that had previously discoloured it.

The internal fitout included multiple meeting rooms and a bright reception area for welcoming customers in to the new branch.

Throughout each floor, there is predominantly open plan work space and breakout areas creating a pleasant working environment and to encourage employee wellbeing. There is also a café for staff dining which supports local coffee suppliers and other brands.

In the basement level of the building, there is additional storage and underground car parking available.
