Tevir Group supporting Hospice refurbishment

Hospice Isle of Man has announced plans to carry out major refurbishment work to further enhance the services and care it provides to its patients and their families.

Thanks to the support of Tevir Group, all building work required to be undertaken for the refurbishment will now be able to be carried out at once, minimising the disruption for patients and staff.

Hospice Isle of Man has now begun to temporarily re-house some of their services for the duration of the refurbishment period.

Director of palliative care services Christine Bloomer said: ’Over the last couple of months the hospice team, including staff, volunteers and our board of governors, have worked tirelessly to prepare for this significant change.'

'I would like to thank everyone involved, including our external contractors, advisors and partners for their support and enthusiasm in helping us make the most out of this fantastic opportunity. It really has been an excellent example of partnership working.'
