Keith Jones Foundation Donates £20,000 to Manx Children’s Art Therapy (MCAT)

The Keith Jones Foundation is proud to support the incredible work of Manx Children’s Art Therapy (MCAT) with a £20,000 donation, helping to fund vital mental health and emotional support for children and young people across the Isle of Man.

About MCAT

Founded in 2019, MCAT provides a safe, creative, and transformative environment where children aged 7 to 18 can process emotions, build resilience, and express themselves through art - often when words are too difficult to find. Their clinical art therapy service, based at The Children’s Centre, Wallberry Farm, offers professional therapeutic support to children facing a wide range of challenges including domestic violence, bereavement, chronic illness, parental separation, anxiety, and neurodivergent conditions such as Asperger’s Syndrome and OCD. Referrals come from schools, parents, CAMHS, and Family Court Welfare, showing how valued and trusted this service has become in our community.

Our donation will help fund 18 weeks of clinical art therapy sessions for 10 children, as well as contribute to a group workshop for young people facing shared challenges such as anxiety, eating disorders, or long-term health conditions.

MCAT’s Director, Eve Wilson, shared a heartfelt message of thanks:

“On behalf of Team MCAT and the children and young people that your very generous donation of £20,000 will help us to help, please accept our most sincere thanks. Your support will provide immediate and lasting benefits to children and their families in need on the Isle of Man.”

We’re honoured to play a part in helping MCAT continue its vital work. Together, we’re not just supporting therapy sessions - we’re giving children the tools to grow in confidence, express their feelings, and move forward with hope.
