Tevir Group are delighted to announce Hansard Global PLC as its next tenant for 55 Athol Street in Douglas. They will be occupying the top two floors of the Grade A commercial development, meaning that over 80% of total floor space in the building has now been leased.
Ciaran Doherty, Managing Director, Tevir Group commented:
‘We are delighted to have secured another highly regarded company in Hansard as our next tenant for 55 Athol Street. To have leased over 80% of the floor space and have only a single unit remaining vacant within a year of completion of the development is testament to the unique commercial setting that we've created in central Douglas.
'Further evidence of the prestigious reputation that the building has already gained is that despite the challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been encouraged by the levels of enquiries we are getting from prospective tenants seeking to provide a high quality, positive environment for their employees' wellbeing.
Gordon Marr, Hansard CEO, commented:
‘The move represents a significant commitment to the Island as 55 Athol Street will be the central hub of the company’s international operations. Our move to the new office will be phased over a number of months and I know that the team are very excited at the prospect of spending our working days at what I believe to be the Island’s premier business address.’
The Athol Street site underwent a significant transformation with Tevir Group making substantial investment into the property since purchasing it in June 2018. It has a number of features to support employee wellbeing and active travel. These include a fully equipped gym, changing rooms with showers, secure bike park, informal breakout areas, and excellent levels of natural light.
Enquiries on leasing the last available unit can be made to Mark Grace at Black Grace Cowley or to enquiries@tevirgroup.com
We've put together a short film which follows the development of 55 Athol Street into the Grade A commercial property it has been transformed into.
