Keith Jones Foundation is proud to make its second donation to support Active Souls
This summer, Active Souls welcomed children to their holiday sessions at the Roundhouse, using both the large sports hall and outdoor playground. Most days were fully booked, with up to 50 children enjoying sports, games, crafts, and other activities.
Our donation helped to provide free places for children who usually receive Free School Meals. These children also received a packed lunch supplied by Strang Stores, ensuring they were well supported throughout the day.
The sessions are designed for primary-aged children and balance active games with quieter breaks, so everyone can take part at their own pace. The children clearly enjoyed themselves, whether joining in group activities or spending time in smaller groups with leaders.
Active Souls is run by a team of 10 staff, who are all DBS checked, trained in first aid, and allergy aware, giving parents confidence that their children are in safe hands.
We are pleased that our support has once again enabled more children to take part in Active Souls’ holiday programme and benefit from the safe, welcoming environment it provides.
