Mannin Cancers, a dedicated charity run entirely by volunteers, is the sister organization to the renowned ‘Manx Breast Cancer Support Group’. Both have established themselves as pillars within the Isle of Man community, working tirelessly to raise awareness and secure the necessary funding for critical healthcare services. Over the past 13 years, their efforts have resulted in an extraordinary £10 million raised, a significant portion of which contributed to the creation of the Manx Breast Unit. Now, their focus is on raising funds to establish and maintain the Mannin Cancers Macmillan Support Centre at Nobles Hospital in Douglas.
We are incredibly proud to be a lead sponsor of their exciting new fundraising initiative, “Mannin Bikes ‘Wheelie Good Cause’”. This unique campaign celebrates the Isle of Man’s legendary racing heritage, combining the island’s deep-rooted connection to motorsport with a meaningful charitable cause. Through a collaboration with a world-class designer and manufacturer, the project will feature stunning, to-scale fiberglass models of iconic racing bikes—each one a tribute to the spirit of the Island’s racing legacy.
It was an absolute privilege to attend the launch event, hosted at the stunning residence of the Lieutenant Governor and Lady Lorimer. The event was an unforgettable occasion, as we saw the bikes come to life in a truly spectacular setting, setting the tone for what promises to be a remarkable campaign.
