Hospice Isle of Man’s Braddan headquarters has reopened its doors following significant renovation works funded by Tevir Group....
Looky’s Aid was born from the legacy of a remarkable young man, Lucas ‘Looky’ Martin. Lucas, known for his infectious enthusiasm and unwavering positivity, lived a life that was a testament to the values of Love, Optimism, Ambition, Determination, and Selflessness – LOADS.
Looky sadly passed away on September 12th 2023, aged 21, from meningitis. Despite the best efforts of doctors, and the wonderful care shown by the nursing staff at Nobles Hospital, he was unable to be saved. Lucas was a beacon of hope and joy to everyone who knew him. His ability to uplift others, even in the face of adversity, was extraordinary. He was a firm believer in the potential of every individual, especially young people, to make a positive impact in the world.
We recently donated £5,000 to go towards their mission to unlock the potential of young people, particularly those who are underprivileged, ill, or disabled. They believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to live a life filled with love, hope, ambition, determination, and the joy of helping others. Their initiatives are designed to provide support, education, and experiences that empower young individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
