Tevir Group support IOM Junior Golf Festival

The Isle of Man Golf Union is the governing body of the sport on the Island and one of the key aims is to promote the game to youngsters from all backgrounds, offering them the opportunity to experience golf using specialised equipment within the school environment. So, when the union approached us asking for some help to support this scheme, we were delighted. Andy Patterson held golf lessons with the children at all the schools which had equipment donated and they can now use the equipment at their own leisure. 

On Monday 10th July 2023, inaugural 'Golf Festival' was held at the NSC, with multiple schools on the island taking part in activities and putting their golf skills into practice. It was an absolute delight seeing all the children take part in something new and we hope this will be the start of something special for the Isle of Man Golf Union. 

Jess Edmonds and Katie-Anne Simpson from Tevir Group had the opportunity to go down to the NSC and witness the new skills that these Manx children now have. They had the absolute pleasure in presenting the awards to the schools that places first, second and third in the tournament.
